About BROKEN ANGELS:

With well-placed detail, Kurth illustrates that in life, as in fiction, coincidences are merely latent revelations.

Authentic language and vivid prose wonderfully capture the essence of small-town America and its colorful inhabitants.

About THE MARKET WOMEN OF DIAMOND SQUARE:

Kurth’s novel is a both a rich historical portrait of a time and place and a tender story of forbidden love....Kurth’s prose is adroit, tender, and edgy, with touches of gallows humor.

A thoughtful and engrossing historical drama with a sweet, satisfying conclusion.
